Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Aila - Bedtime Stories ("Aila", "we", "our", "us") handles information when you use the app. Aila provides bedtime stories, sleep sounds, and relaxation content for children and families.
Information We Collect
Account and identity: Sign-in and Apple ID authentication are handled by Apple. We do not see or store Apple ID credentials.
Purchases and subscriptions: Subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) are processed by Apple through StoreKit 2. We receive subscription entitlement status needed to unlock premium features.
CloudKit data: We use Apple CloudKit to store app content metadata, user library state (for example, favorites/saves), and notification read/unread state in the user's iCloud/CloudKit container.
Analytics and advertising: We do not use third-party analytics/advertising SDKs.
Push notifications: If notifications are enabled, a device token is used to deliver notifications, and notification preferences are stored.
Information We Do Not Collect
- No precise location data.
- No contacts data.
- No microphone recordings are stored by us.
- We do not sell personal data.
Children's Privacy
Aila is intended for families and children. We encourage parental involvement when children use the app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is necessary for app functionality.

Data Sharing
We share data only as needed with Apple services used to run the app, including StoreKit, iCloud/CloudKit, and Apple Push Notification services. We do not share data with third-party advertisers.
Data Retention
App data is stored in your iCloud/CloudKit container. You can remove your data by deleting app data and/or managing iCloud data associated with Aila in your Apple account settings.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information processed by the app. iCloud and CloudKit infrastructure security is provided by Apple.
