Why I Don’t Want to Build Just Another Brand
The difference between creating a brand and creating something worth building a brand around.

It’s never been easier to create something that looks like a brand. You can design a logo, choose a typeface, create a website and publish a few carefully composed images. Within a few days, you can have something that looks established.
But I’ve been thinking about the difference between creating a brand and creating something worth building a brand around. The visual identity matters to me. A lot. I appreciate good typography, thoughtful composition and the way small details can completely change how something feels. But those things need to represent something.
With Enufh, for example, the intention isn’t simply to create another clothing or fragrance label. It’s to explore a particular approach to everyday essentials, identity and self-expression. The products should justify the existence of the brand.

The same thinking applies to digital products. NeuWeight shouldn’t exist because I wanted to design a fitness app. It should exist because there’s an opportunity to make weight management more understandable and sustainable.
I’ve started to see branding as the expression of a much larger idea. The identity creates recognition. The product creates value. And the experience determines whether people come back. The challenge is making all three feel like they belong together.
